Bingo and Oklahoma: Two Peas in a Pod

Oklahoma has for a long time been interrelated with Bingo. That is owing to the fact that the Indian tribes of Oklahoma have run Bingo games for generations. Guests from each of the nearby states load up in automobiles and travel to Oklahoma to gamble on Bingo over the weekends.
The 1988 IGRA followed a landmark ruling by The U.S. Supreme Court just the year prior. Since that time, 23 of the 39 Indian tribes located in Oklahoma have introduced gaming halls. The Chickasaw were the initial Oklahoma American Indian tribes to take advantage of the gambling laws, and today operate ten gambling halls of their own. Bingo is the game on which the above-mentioned casinos were founded. digital games like one armed bandits were not authorized, since they are believed to lead to gambling addiction at a higher rate than bingo.

No one can say with what having other gambling den games in the bingo parlours will do for the popularity of bingo.
