Bingo in Oklahoma
by Heath on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016
Oklahoma has long been synonymous with Bingo. That is because the Amerindian bands of Oklahoma have operated Bingo sessions for generations. Patrons from every one of the surrounding states load up in autos and travel to Oklahoma to enjoy Bingo on the weekends.
The 1988 Indian Gaming Regulatory Act was introduced after a landmark decision by The U.S. Supreme Court just the year prior. From that instance, twenty three of the thirty nine Amerindian tribes of Oklahoma have introduced gaming halls. The Chickasaw were the 1st Oklahoma Indian tribes to take advantage of the betting restrictions, and at this time operate ten gambling halls of their very own. Bingo is the game on which these gambling dens were founded. digital games like slot machines were not permitted, due to the fact that they are believed to lead to gambling dependency at a higher rate than bingo.
In recent years, Oklahoma rules has altered to allow for big Indian gaming casinos. You’ll now find Native casinos with slots, video poker and chemin de fer tables. Craps and roulette are not yet allowed in the Indian casinos yet, but that is just a matter of time. Nobody can determine what having other gambling hall games in the bingo parlours will do for the appeal of bingo.

Net Casinos vs. Wagering on Bingo
by Heath on Wednesday, January 6th, 2016
Bingo is a very popular past time, in particular with the blue hair generation. Although bingo can be enjoyable at times, a lot of the time it is somewhat boring, and the odds of succeeding are fairly tiny. Bingo is a game of pure luck as you have little influence over the results of the outcome. You are given a sheet of paper with pre-determined numbers, and the only thing you can do is hope for the best. That does not sound great does it? What is a more effective alternative to wishing you are going to win playing bingo? Wagering on web casinos! Here are three reasons why net casinos are better than the game of bingo.
Reason One – More Control On The Results
Bingo is a game of luck. If you are not given the winning numbers when you buy your bingo card(s), you will not win. Online poker, for example, is the complete opposite. Online poker focuses on skill, and some fortune. If you are skilled sufficiently, you will be able to succeed a lot of the time playing web poker.
Reason 2 – A Monstrous Sign up Bonus
I like the idea of gettinga complimentary $500 welcome bonus just for becoming a member of a web casino. How often does that happen when you go to compete in bingo?
Reason 3 – A Huge Variety Of Engaging Games
Bingo is a very repetitive, and sometimes, boring game. Want to have lots of excitement? Most online casinos offer more games than you can dream of! Roulette, slot machines, poker, and various other dazzling games with entertaining sounds and colors.
If you like to play bingo, then I encourage you to continue playing it. However, if you are wanting a change, and looking to potentially win a lot more, then I recommend giving internet casinos a chance. They are convenient, fun, fast, and incredibly easy to use. Not only that, but you can achieve a lot greater control over the results of your wagers!

New Mexico Bingo
by Heath on Friday, January 1st, 2016
New Mexico has a complex gaming history. When the IGRA was passed by the House in 1989, it looked like New Mexico might be one of the states to get on the Indian casino bandwagon. Politics guaranteed that wouldn’t be the case.
The New Mexico governor Bruce King announced a working group in Nineteen Ninety to create an accord with New Mexico American Indian tribes. When the working group arrived at an accord with two prominent local tribes a year later, the Governor refused to sign the agreement. He would hold up a deal until 1994.
When a new governor took office in Nineteen Ninety Five, it seemed that American Indian gaming in New Mexico was now a certainty. But when the new Governor signed the contract with the American Indian bands, anti-gambling forces were able to tie the contract up in courts. A New Mexico court ruled that the Governor had overstepped his bounds in signing the deal, thereby costing the state of New Mexico hundreds of thousands of dollars in licensing revenues over the next several years.
It took the CNA, passed by the New Mexico house, to get the process moving on a full accord between the Government of New Mexico and its Indian bands. Ten years had been squandered for gaming in New Mexico, which includes Amerindian casino Bingo.
The not for profit Bingo industry has gotten bigger from 1999. That year, New Mexico non-profit game operators acquired only $3,048. This number grew to $725,150 in 2000, and exceeded a million dollars in 2001. Nonprofit Bingo revenues have grown constantly since that time. Two Thousand and Five saw the largest year, with $1,233,289 grossed by the owners.
Bingo is certainly popular in New Mexico. All types of operators look for a slice of the action. With hope, the politicians are done batting over gaming as a hot button issue like they did in the 90’s. That is probably wishful thinking.
